I have been curling my hair with the Dyson Airwrap for a few months now and I love the big curls that it creates but with Singapore’s humidity, my curls can’t seem to stay on—so I decided to go for a perm! Here’s my experience at HiNT Salon.

🚗  For those who drive, the salon is located at Tanjong Pagar right opposite the public carpark which makes it easy to find parking.

Before we started, I told them my concerns and what I wanted; I wanted natural curls that weren’t too loud or many and most importantly, I didn’t want to look OLD 😭 I had a perm a long long time ago and hated how it made me look abit auntie.

The process didn’t feel too long at all. They saw that I was doing work on my phone and offered a charging cable and the wifi—👍🏼 service. I grabbed the chance to get some work done. I only realised the whole process took 4hrs when I checked the time.

✨The Results ✨

These curls are soooooo nice and natural!!!! I hope these photos can do the curls justice! I have been getting so much compliments 🥹 I love how the curls were only at the bottom of my hair and on my curtain bangs because it seems to frame my face better. Now I can wake up to nice wavy hair without even styling! I’m so happy with it. It saves 30 mins of getting ready.

If you’re looking to do a perm but have been wary or unsure, take this as a sign! Find your trusted salon and just go for it. ❤️ I’m definitely recommending HiNT Salon for those who are not sure where to go! And you can even grab Korean food after in the area hahaha.
