My Film Camera Alternative: OLD ROLL 📸

We all love the vintage look a film camera provides, but it takes quite some time to finish a film roll and a lot of money to constantly develop them. Here is my an alternative for that—My go-to film simulation app: 📸 Old Roll.

Here are some reasons why I like it more than other apps:

📸 Lots of camera types to choose from Unlike the Huji app, Old Roll has multiple film cameras in 1 app. Simply scroll through the camera options and you’ll find so many vintage cameras. There are polariod ones, funny ones and some that even support video!

🤯 The colours are beautiful I’ve been using these for selfies, group pics, and holiday pictures. It’s so much easier to take out my phone and snap on this app when I’m out and about. I personally love Camera M for Singapore lighting and Camera Q for overseas pictures. It’s also beautiful with flash on!

🕰️ Analog Vibes The interface imitates the vintage camera and are all different. It’s so fun to try and tap on different parts of the cameras to find more usages.

👏🏼 In-app Memory The photos don’t get downloaded unless you choose to download them! Unlike developing an entire film roll, for Old Roll, you get to decide which photos you want.

✨ Use it as a filter If you’re not into snapping directly on the app, you can also import it in and use the different cameras as filters over your original photos!

✂️ Create quick collages for IG stories & Lemon8 Just select multiple pictures and you’ll be directly to make them into a collage! Super quick and simple for your creating content or simple Instagram Stories.
